Injections

Many conditions can benefit from injections to help with pain and swelling. These injections can help recovery and many times avoid surgery. Certain injections can also be performed with the use of ultrasound- guidance to ensure that it is placed in a precise location. Injections are usually steroid (cortisone) mixed with a local anesthetic (lidocaine). Other injections include collagenase for a patients with Dupuytrens contractures and platelet- rich plasma (PRP) for certain select conditions.
