Qualified Medical Examinations
Dr. Patel is honored to serve Southern California as a distinguished medicolegal expert.
Dr. Patel is one of the few orthopedic surgeons in Orange County specializing as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). He has been certified by the California Division of Worker’s Compensation to perform these evaluations.
A qualified medical evaluator is a physician who performs independent evaluations for an injured worker when there are questions about the case. A physician must meet educational and licensing requirements to qualify as a QME.
Dr. Patel performs examinations for all orthopedic injuries (including upper extremity, lower extremity, and spine).
